Covid-19 Guidelines

Trinity Fellowship COVID-19 Guidelines 

Trinity Fellowship is open for worship services.  We are taking the steps outlined below to provide a safe environment for everyone per the guidelines of the CDC and government officials. Our number one goal is your health and safety. 

  • Because of the guidelines set, Phase 2 of the opening process will require a lot of restrictions. However, we expect things to continually change, so we ask that you’ll be patient and flexible during this time. We are excited to be together again, and with everyone’s help, we can make this transition as smooth and as easy as possible!
  • Since we cannot provide a germ free environment, we ask that if you are sick, have a fever, cough or shortness of breath or any other COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, to please stay home.  We also want to protect our most vulnerable, if you have underlying health conditions that would make you higher risk for severe illness we ask that you continue to watch our services online during Phase 2.
  • To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that you take your temperature and the temperatures of all who will join you before leaving your home. We will follow the honor system, and trust that you will make sure no one in your party has had fever of 100.4 or higher in the past two days.
  • We will have one service in English at 10:15 am. Seats will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, with overflow options available should the sanctuary fill up.  When exiting your car, we ask that you’d line up on sidewalks around Building A. There will be two lines formed under the awning. Please keep your kids close to you to ensure their safety. 
  • Our sanctuary has been re-set to allow for social distancing.  We’ve measured and observed the federal standards – six feet between family units. Once seated, we ask that you please stay in your seats unless you need to use the restroom, or need to tend to your child. The Ushers in the Great Hall can direct you where to go if you need to step out.
  • During Phase 2, we will have main services only. This will include TF Youth on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and TF Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am. In addition to this, there may be limited TF Youth and TF Kids board-approved events allowed. Guidelines for TF Kids area entrance are as follows: 

Check-in

  1. Drop-off will be staggered to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet.  Velcro strips will line the hallways to assist you as you bring your child to the children’s area.  
  2. Each child’s temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer.  Parents will need to complete a screening questionnaire to ensure no one is ill or exposed who enters the children’s area.  Hand sanitizer will be used before the children enter the kid’s area.  If necessary, hand washing can be done if a child is unable to use hand sanitizer.
  3. Name tags will be provided for each child and a pick-up tag to each parent.  Parents please bring your pick-up tag with you when you pick-up your child.
  4. Your child will be escorted to their classroom by our team members and they will stay with their classroom and teachers the entire time to avoid mixing between groups.  Jackets, toys and bags will not be allowed in the classroom during phase 2.  We will provide diapers unless there is an allergy and specific ones are required.  Infants/crawlers bags will be allowed as bottles, formula, etc. will be needed by the child.  Bibles are not necessary in the classrooms as we provide the verse on our screens.  
  5. Staff and children 10 years of age and older should wear cloth face/mask coverings to diminish potential spread from people who might be asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic for COVID-19 infection. For safety reasons, under no circumstances should a mask be placed on a child under 2 years of age.  Face coverings are not required for children under the age of 10, as many children in this group will have difficulty consistently wearing a mask. However, if a child older than 2 but younger than 10 is able to consistently wear a face covering, it is encouraged. 
  6. Directional signage has been provided so that everyone can safely walk throughout the hallways maintaining physical distancing of 6 feet.  

Classrooms

  1. Nursery, Crawlers, Toddlers and Preschool classrooms will have no more than 5 children per classroom so that physical distancing can be maintained as much as possible.  The TF Kids Sanctuary will be sectioned off to allow for 6 feet physical distancing for elementary aged kids.
  2. Overflow classrooms will be provided for all ages/grades so that physical distancing can be maintained.  
  3. Chairs, Velcro Tape Strips & Box Cars will be spaced according to social distancing guidelines in each room.
  4. Children will wash their hands with antibacterial soap after bathroom time and while in the classroom as necessary.
  5. Goldfish/animal cracker snacks will be discontinued during phase 2.  Snack time will be replaced with an object lesson or social distancing game.
  6. Areas that are frequently touched—such as, shared objects/toys, door handles, drinking fountain, and sink handles will be cleaned and disinfected between uses.   Only one child will be allowed in the bathroom at a time to allow social distancing and disinfecting between children.  
  7. Team members will air hug, salute, wave, or give a thumbs up in place of any culturally acceptable physical contact.
  8. Take home papers will be prepared each week and will be provided to the children as they exit the children’s area.  

Check-Out

  1. Children will be picked up at the exit doors by the playground.  Parents will stop by the kiosk on their way to the exit doors to notify the Kiosk Team Members that they are ready to pick up their child.  
  2. Social distancing Velcro Strips will be on the carpet to assist families to maintain physical distance while waiting on their child.  
  3. One child or one family unit will be checked out at a time to allow distancing in the hallways.  
  • On Sundays, there will be a 10:15 am English service, a 10:15 am Spanish service, 10:15 am Kids Church and nurseries. On Monday, Celebrate Recovery will meet at 6:30 pm. On Wednesdays, TF Youth will meet at 6:30 pm. All other Wednesday night activities, weddings, showers, graduations, community groups or any other on-campus event or ministry will be opened at a later date.  
  • To help prevent the spread of infection, we ask everyone ages 10 and up to wear a face covering.  Face coverings for under 10 years are optional.  Infants and toddlers will not be required to wear a mask.  If you have a health condition that makes it impossible for you to wear a mask, we understand.  If you forget your mask, one will be provided for you.  
  • Common areas and gathering spaces of the building will be closed.
  • Restrooms will be open, but children must be with an adult at all times. 
  • Before every service, the sanctuary and all high-touch surfaces will be disinfected.  We will only allow people in the room after that procedure is complete.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are set up throughout the building.  We encourage their frequent use.
  • If you need to sneeze or cough, please cover your mouth and nose or sneeze into your elbow.
  • We will continually wipe down surfaces in the restrooms and other high-touch areas.
  • Restrooms will be open, but children must be with an adult at all times.  Drinking fountains will not be available for use.
  • We will not distribute any bulletins or printed materials.  Offering envelopes will be placed on the chairs.  Extras will be removed and destroyed between services.
  • Greeters will be wearing masks and gloves and will open all doors for everyone.  We will not shake hands, hug, or high five.  Instead, we will air hug, wave, and smile.
  • We encourage you to continue giving online.  Ushers will wear masks and gloves and will be available to collect your offering in the bucket, touch-free as you exit the sanctuary.   
  • When you enter the building, you will be directed to a seating area for your family.  We will seat people from the front of the room to the back of the room.  After service, we will dismiss you and direct you on exiting the building to ensure a quick, safe exit.
  • The back rows of the sanctuary will be reserved for families with small children, and those with disabilities. They will be marked with signs. 
  • With this transition, we are in need of lots of volunteers to make this run as smoothly as possible. We will need help with sanitizing seats and bathrooms after the service. Trinity Fellowship Español abrió sus puertas para reuniones de adoración desde el 10 de Mayo. Estaremos tomando los pasos descritos abajo para proveer un ambiente seguro para todos de acuerdo a las pautas dadas por los oficiales del gobierno y del CDC.  

  • Como no podemos proveer un ambiente libre de gérmenes, pedimos que si estas enfermo, tienes fiebre, tos o batallas al respirar o cualquier otro síntoma del COVID-19 o has sido expuesto al COVID-19 en los pasados 14 días, por favor quédate en casa.  También queremos proteger a los más vulnerables. Si eres mayor de 65 años de edad o tienes problemas de salud subyacentes eso te pondrá en un riesgo mayor de una enfermedad severa, pedimos que continues viendo los servicios  en linea durante la Fase Uno.
  • Solo podemos acomodar 130 personas en nuestro santuario en el Edificio C (Gimnasio). Los asientos se asignaran a cómo vayan llegando. No anticipamos rebasar en estos momentos ese numero pero si hay necesidad se harán dos servicios.
  • El santuario se ha alistado para permitir el distanciamiento social. Hemos medido y observado los estandartes federals – seis pies de distancia entre unidades de familias. 
  • Durante la Fase Uno, tendremos únicamente servicios los domingos. No habra actividades del ministerio de niños, guardería, reunión de jóvenes, o cualquier otro evento o ministerio dentro del campus. Esperamos que cuando entren las siguientes fases, podamos pronto proveer estos servicios y ministerios de nuevo.
  • Para ayudar a prevenir la propagación de la infección, pedimos a todos mayores de 10 años usar tapabocas o mascarillas. Las mascarillas para menores de 10 años es opcional. Si tu tienes una condición de salud que te hace imposible usar una mascarilla, nosotros entenderemos.  Si se te llega a olvidar tu mascarilla en tu casa nosotros te proveeremos de una. 
  • Para garantizar la seguridad de todos, pedimos que te cheques la temperatura y la de todos los de tu casa que asistirán contigo. Seguiremos el sistema de honor, y confiaremos que tu te aseguraras que nadie de tu grupo tenga o haya tenido fiebre de 100.4 grados o más en los pasados dos días.
  • Las areas comunes y espacios para congregarse a convivir estarán cerrados. Incluyendo el area de cafe, y cualquier lugar donde se puedan congregar las personas.
  • Antes de cada servicio, el santuario y todas las areas de mayor contacto serán desinfectadas. Permitiremos gente en el santuario solo cuando este completo este procedimiento. 
  • Tendremos estaciones con desinfectantes en las puertas para que las usen.
  • Si tiene que estornudar o toser, por favor cubra su boca y nariz en su codo.  
  • Estaremos desinfectando constantemente las superficies en los baños y otras areas.  
  • Los baños estarán abiertos, pero los niños tendrán que ir con un adulto todo el tiempo. Los bebederos de agua no estarán disponibles para utilizarse.
  • No se distribuirán ningún boletín o material impreso. Los sobres para las ofrendas estarán en las sillas. Todos los extras se removerán y serán destruidos después de cada servicio.
  • Los ujieres y edecanes estarán usando guantes y mascarillas y abrirán puertas para todos. No saludaremos de mano, ni se darán abrazos y high five. En vez, daremos abrazos de aire, saludaremos de lejos y sonreiremos.
  • Le animamos a seguir ofrendando en linea. Los ujieres usaran guantes y mascarillas y colectaran tus ofrendas en una cubeta al salir del santuario sin que tengas que tocarlas.   
  • Por favor permanezca en sus autos hasta que sea 15 minutos antes del servicio. Cuando el santuario ha sido desinfectado, se les permitirá entrar. 
  • Cuando entres al edificio, se te guiara a un area donde te puedas sentar con tu familia. Sentaremos a las personas a partir de las primeras filas hacia atrás del cuarto. Después del servicio, los despediremos y los dirigiremos hacia las salidas del edificio para asegurar una salida rápida y segura.
  • Estamos contentos y emocionados de estar de regreso juntos, y esperamos que ustedes también. Una vez más gracias por ser pacientes con nosotros ya que el formato cambiara frecuentemente. Nos vemos el domingo!
